Effective Date: 12 October 2026
This Refund Policy explains the general conditions applicable to refund requests relating to payments made for Aastha Institute services. It also explains the important distinction between payments made to Aastha Institute and payments made directly to universities, institutions or other third parties.
Important: University or institutional fees are governed by the refund policy of the concerned university or institution. Aastha Institute cannot independently approve a refund of money that was paid directly to another entity.
1. Scope of This Refund Policy
This policy applies to payments received by Aastha Institute for services such as consultancy, counselling, admission assistance, documentation, research support, proofreading, editing or other services where Aastha Institute is the actual payment recipient.
2. University and Institution Fees
Admission fees, tuition fees, examination fees, registration fees, university charges and other amounts paid directly to a university or institution are subject to that entity's own refund and cancellation rules. Any refund request for such payments must be processed according to the concerned institution's policy.
3. Requesting a Refund
Where a payment to Aastha Institute may be eligible for refund, the user should contact us promptly and provide sufficient information to identify the payment, including name, mobile number, payment date, amount, payment reference and reason for the request.
4. Review of Refund Requests
Refund requests are reviewed according to the nature of the service, work already performed, expenses already incurred, third-party costs, applicable written terms and any commitments communicated before the payment.
5. Services Already Started or Completed
Where counselling, documentation, application support, research work, editing, analysis, formatting or another service has already started or been completed, the amount eligible for refund may be reduced or a refund may not be available, depending on the work performed and the agreed scope of service.
6. Non-Refundable Third-Party Costs
Amounts already paid to or incurred for a university, institution, payment provider, courier, verification service, software provider or other third party may be non-refundable where the third party does not return that amount.
7. Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will normally be processed to the original payment method or another verified method where necessary. Processing time may depend on the bank, payment provider and method used.
8. Duplicate or Failed Payments
If you believe that the same payment was charged more than once, or that a failed transaction was nevertheless debited, please provide the transaction details. We will review our payment records and, where appropriate, coordinate with the relevant payment provider.
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If an approved refund has not appeared within the expected processing period, first check with your bank or payment provider because settlement times can vary. You may then contact Aastha Institute with the relevant refund reference for follow-up.
10. Cancellation or Non-Availability of a Service
If Aastha Institute is unable to provide a paid service and no reasonable alternative is accepted by the user, the refund position will be assessed according to the amount paid, work already performed and costs already incurred.
11. Misrepresentation, Fraud or Breach
A refund may be refused where a user has provided fraudulent or forged documents, materially misrepresented information, abused a service or breached applicable Terms and Conditions, subject to applicable law.
12. Contact for Refund Requests
For a refund-related query, contact Aastha Institute with your payment
